This piece was created as a poster to advertise Ashland University’s high school art experience. It combines traditional and digital, utilizing charcoal for the base and several art programs to add color.

The court's newest magician started her job off with quite a few raised eyebrows. Her shoes were fancy. And loud. Never concerned with how much noise she made, she instead worried for the first few days that perhaps her ankle boots were too flashy. She never understood why so many of her colleagues were obsessed with ornate designs. That is, until she saw these shoes. She fell in love as soon as she saw them, and thought she earned a gift to herself for both managing to pass her apprenticeship and land one of her dream jobs.
As far as the commoners were concerned, the girl clearly never had a single hard day's work. And she must not intend to change that with her impractical choice of footwear. She'd just end up like the rest of the court magicians – moving on to bigger, wealthier cities — or disappearing.

A friend approached me to illustrate a dream she had. I instantly loved her description - it was so wonderfully vivid that I jumped at the opportunity to make it come to life. The entire process, from thumbnailing to the final touches, was engaging, and I’m incredibly happy that I got the opportunity to work with a friend.
This piece is something I’ve been working on bit by bit while not focusing on bigger projects. It was just a warm up, or something to mess with when I was waiting for something or listening to videos. It was fun taking a simple sketch from a previous summer and pushing it to something I’m proud of.
When I decided to expand upon the original sketch, I wanted to imitate my previous work, Ashland University Art & Design Poster. The combination of charcoal and digital painting was unique to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed the final result. Rather than using actual charcoal I opted to use default charcoal and pencil brushes on Procreate. For the final piece I recolored some of the line work to soften the image.
This piece was created with gouache paints and then enhanced digitally. I added more color variation and texture via Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint after scanning the image in. The final image is of the original scanned version of the work, edited only for color correction and removing the background. The 8.5" x 8.5" painting was submitted to "Got It For Cheap," a traveling show created by the 0-0 LA Gallery.

Inspiration can spawn from all sorts of places. In this case, an update to Procreate’s software incorporating a new symmetry feature started a chain of symmetrical drawings. The feature led me to simple compositions and styles, so I focused my efforts instead on inking and color harmony. This was the superlative piece of the batch.
This was created as an icon and part of an away banner for Twitch streamer CometScout. I wanted to focus on improving my inking and began experimenting with screentones.
A warm up sketch of my favorite character from the podcast The Adventure Zone quickly turned into a full-blown piece. A simple speed art video of it can be watched here.
A friend of mine shared a character of hers, and I simply could not resist drawing her myself!
